I am passionate about good person-centred care and believe in treating people with respect and dignity. This is reflected in the CQC report of “Good” which we have maintained over the past 2 inspections.

I believe in the ethos of “this is a persons home” and “we are guests here”.

I have been manager here for over 5 years and have a good staff team who are very caring and respond well to new challenges, and because the home is small we have chance to get to know our residents and their families and develop good relationships with them.

The staff at Mansion House are excellent and experienced. Mum has deteriorated in the last few months due to her diagnosis of vascular dementia and mixed Alzheimer's. The home is not the poshest we've seen but it is the most homely and cosy home we have been in. There are no bad odours in the home. The food is also excellent.

Many, many thanks to all staff for their wonderful care, I am so grateful that my husband was at the best care home in the district
