I have been the Home Manager RGN of Fieldhead Court for 15 years along with a very well established staff team, some of the staff team have worked there longer than myself. The one thing that I liked about Fieldhead Court when I first started was its history, which can be found in the home and all the staff have a knowledge of this and more than happy to share, the grounds it sits in are a fantastic area for residents to sit with their family and take in the fresh air and or get involved in activities we hold in the grounds. This is a fantastic environment for both residents, staff and their families. I like to think we are all a family who care deeply about the care we offer our residents. Both, the Home, the staff, the proprietor and the senior management team have over the years developed together and will continue to do so in the future.
My dad has been in the care home now for a few months and he likes it. All the staff are great with him and he has a good time there, hopefully, he will enjoy it in the future.
The staff dealt with difficult situations with the dignity and respect all the time. They are staff to be proud of (5 stars).
The staff here are all fabulous and make a real effort to make the residents feel safe and comfortable. There are activities most afternoons in the lounges and all residents are encouraged to join in but never pressured. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Fieldhead Court for a short or long stay and if it was closer to home this would be my choice for Mum to stay for respite.
