1 Ensuring the medical, physical and emotional needs of our residents are met.

2 Ensuring all our residents have privacy, respecting confidentiality, by disclosing information only to those who require it, after agreement with the individual concerned.

3 Individual resident’s right to privacy will always be respected by staff providing personal care and with regards to their mail, belongings and personal and financial affairs.

4 Ensuring all residents have dignity and independence by having flexibility built into routines, to allow time and opportunity to complete residents own chosen activities, by experienced staff who are sensitive to their needs.

5 To ensure that compromise is sought wherever the choices on individual residents coincide or conflict.

6 Ensuring all residents have the right to make choices, these include:-

• Access to records about themselves though information may be withheld which may cause serious physical and mental harm to that resident or which would identify a third party.
• What to wear on a day to day basis and when to go and rise from bed at any time.
• Involvement in menu planning and social, therapeutic and educational activities organised by staff.

Health & Safety

At Roche Healthcare we take Health and Safety, including fire precautions very seriously. A high standard of safety equipment has been installed and staff are well trained and know exactly what to do in the case of an accident or fire.

Our safety and detection equipment is the very latest in today’s technology and in the event of a fire, alarm bells will sound throughout the home. A member of staff will be with you in a matter of seconds to reassure and assist you.

We check our alarms on a regular basis and you will always be informed when these tests are being undertaken while you are on the premises.
